LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY:
Your landscape is accompanied with a six (6) month limited warranty on the trees, shrubs and plants installed by Bare Roots Landscaping. Newly installed landscape trees, shrubs and plants can suffer transplant shock, particularly during the hot summer months. It is imperative that they receive proper care, so as to minimize stress. Upon installation it is then the responsibility of the owner to supply the trees, shrubs and plants with sufficient water and fertilizer (as needed) during their growing season (May to October) to keep them healthy. Trees, plants and shrubs are warranted for six (6) months from date of installation, and will be replaced once within the warranty period, should they die. Bare Roots Landscaping will be responsible for the cost of the replacement tree, plant or shrub, but the client is responsible for all labor costs for installing the replacement tree, plant or shrub.
Bare Roots Landscaping assumes no liability for replacement of trees, plants or shrubs killed or damaged by pests, insect infestation, abnormal weather conditions, or other conditions beyond its control, nor will we replace plants experiencing “seasonal die-back”, when pruning and proper care will restore them to health. This warranty shall be void and will not apply to any trees, plants or shrubs which were originally installed by Bare Roots Landscaping, and then subsequently repaired, adjusted, moved or modified by an individual or entity other than Bare Roots Landscaping.
The above warranty does not apply to any sod installed by Bare Roots Landscaping. Instead, in the event any sod installed by Bare Roots Landscaping dies within six (6) months from date of installation, Bare Roots Landscaping will replace, once, within the warranty period, no more than 10% of the square footage of the installed sod. Bare Roots Landscaping will be responsible for the cost of the replacement sod, but the client is responsible for all labor costs for installing the replacement sod.
Bare Roots Landscaping also provides a one (1) year limited warranty (from date of installation) for any structural failure of hardscaping installed by Bare Roots Landscaping, provided such hardscaping is used only for the purpose for which such installation was designed. Such warranty is for labor only. Any warranty for hardscape materials is provided, if at all, from the manufacturer of such materials and not from Bare Roots Landscaping. Extreme circumstances (including but not limited to damage caused by the owner, vandalism, fire, vehicular accidents, excessive rain or flooding, excessive freezing, or other acts of God beyond the reasonable control of Bare Roots Landscaping) causing damage to work installed by Bare Roots Landscaping are not covered under this warranty or any other Bare Roots Landscaping warranty. Replacements and/or repairs furnished under this warranty shall not carry a new warranty but shall only carry the unexpired portion of the original warranty.
